Founded by myself Akin Bascombe in 2017 on my birthday May 3. Crowntec has been a spark in my mind since 2016 during my senior year at the University of the West Indies when i was pursuing my bachelor's in Information Technology.

I lost my day job due to the territory-wide destruction of hurricane Irma in 2017. In looking for a new path I used up my savings and bought my first camera, a Fujifilm X-T2, which I still have today!

Over the years, I took that small interest and cultivated my appreciation practice of the visual arts.
